Yeast Rolls
Kacie would like to share a Homemade Yeast Roll recipe!
4 cups King Arthur unbleached Flour
1 and 1/2 cups of water
1 tablespoon active dry yeast
2 tablespoons Honey
2 Tablespoons kerrygold butter- melted
Teaspoon salt
In a bowl combine water, yeast and Honey. Stir together and let sit until yeast starts to become active and grow.
Add in melted butter and salt. Stir.
Combine flour and mix together. Using hands is best to incorporate ingredients and get a feel of dough. When dough feels well mixed, grease the bowl with avocado oil. Dough may still feel slightly wet or sticky.
Let dough rest for 1 hour until it doubles in size.
Flour counter lightly and place dough on the counter. Cut dough into pieces to make about 12- 15 balls. With each dough ball, bring in corners to center and roll to create a ball. Place ball on a greased baking pan or glass pan. Let dough balls rest for 30 mins. They will rise. Melt butter and brush on top of balls. Bake at 400 for 15-17 mins.
